Mary has been an avid nature photographer for close to ten years now. Like any knowledge that requires discipline, sometimes, as one gets to know something better and has gained an awareness of the potentialities of a situation, the more difficult a task seems to be. Taking a picture is not hard, but making one that is close to one's ideal, and hopefully well regarded by one's peers, is one of the hardest things to do. It is a test on one's ability to visually manage a chaotic environment and transform it into a thing of beauty.
